Newport has benefitted from the announcement that two companies are to increase their workforce.
The two companies are:
- SPTS Technologies Newport – 30 research and development posts to be added for the hi-tech firm which specialises in innovative micro-electronic devices but is also expanding into biomedical applications.
- Essentra Newport – 20 jobs to be created with another 40 jobs safeguarded at packaging company with a new manufacturing facility
