Are you an experienced or senior production engineer working in the electronics manufacturing sector who is keen to take a step up to a management role? Then we have the role for you.

What you will be doing:
- Overseeing all New Product Implementation processes ensuring a robust process and system is in place to get things right first time.
- Being responsible for all ECN
- Collaborating with the design team on new projects
- Communicating across all departments to ensure optimisation of manufacturing processes
- Ensuring technical support and troubleshooting for any production issues, closing out any issues successfully
- Developing processes to capture production issues that can be addressed through design/engineering.
- Providing guidance and suggesting solutions on techniques and equipment to improve production efficiency.
- Managing the test function and ensuring a robust testing service is in place for new and existing products.
- Implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement processes within defined areas.
What you will need:
- Experience in electronics manufacturing
- Technical knowledge of a variety of processes including SMT, AOI, etc.
- Experience of NPI processes
- A relevant electrical or electronic qualification is desirable (minimum HNC)
- Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
What you will receive:
A salary of £45,000-£55,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, cash plan healthcare, etc.
The working hours
Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-12:30pm on a Friday. The company do offer some flexibility around this to start and finish a little earlier or later if it suits the person.
