About the Buyer / Purchaser
As the buyer / purchaser, you’ll be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing: Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favourable terms with suppliers.
- Collaboration: Act as the vital link between suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Risk Mitigation: Monitor supply chain risks and implement solutions to prevent disruptions.
- Cost Analysis: Analyse costs, review budgets, and identify efficiencies to boost profitability.
What You’ll Need to Apply for the Buyer / Purchaser position.
- Purchasing experience
- Good general IT skills
- Strong communication skills
Your Salary and Benefits
In addition to a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a FOUR-DAY WEEK, 5% company pension, 5 weeks of holiday, plus the bank holidays, with some reserved for the Christmas shutdown and death in service.
