Our client are an established manufacturing business and the hiring manager for this role is an engineer by 'trade' who has undertaken a business development role himself in the past and is happy to consider the right engineer to do similar. Why you should apply:

Manage your own time: The company have a flexible approach to how you achieve your goals so whether you prefer travelling to meet in person with potential clients or utilising tools such as Teams or Zoom you can do what suits your style and preferences.

No two days the same: There will be plenty of variety, both in terms of your day-to-day duties and in servicing a diverse customer base with differing needs, to keep you on your toes.

Plenty of support: You will collaborate closely with a team that have extensive technical knowledge and expertise to share with you to support you in getting up to speed. There is also a marketing team on site to provide support with data, marketing campaigns, etc.

Working for a growing company: There has been continual investment and growth in the business in recent times (new equipment introduced to broaden their product offering, new MRP/ERP system introduced, etc.) and this looks set to continue in the future.

Your package

A salary of up to £50,000 (dependent on experience) with scope for this to improve as you gain experience and prove to be successful in the role + pension, potential annual bonus, and 25 days holiday plus the bank holidays.

Your working hours

Core working hours would be Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm; Fridays, 8am - 2:30pm although some flexibility is needed around travel requirements of the role.
