As the Environmental Manager, you will:
- Lead Environmental Initiatives: Manage the company's environmental programmes, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Monitor and Improve Processes: Conduct environmental tests, analyse results, and implement corrective actions to maintain the highest environmental management standards.
- Handle Hazardous Waste: Oversee the safe and legal handling of hazardous waste, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Incident Management: Investigate environmental incidents, collaborate with specialists and agencies, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Training and Education: Train and educate the workforce on emergency response and environmental management, fostering a culture of environmental excellence within the organisation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with changes in environmental regulations and ensure all processes meet the required standards, maintaining the company's certifications, including ISO14001 and EMAS.
